Pita Pit plans third Sioux Falls location

Pita Pit is planning a third Sioux Falls location.

The restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-March as part of the Remington Pointe development at 69th Street and Western Avenue, according to local franchisee Tom Cruse.

“There’s a lot of small businesses around, a lot of traffic, a lot of rooftops,” he said. “There’s a growing area, a lot of clinics. There’s not a lot for quick casual dining.”

Beef ‘O’Brady’s and specialty shop Cheese World are scheduled to open in the same retail center in January.

Pita Pit contest could win city free pitas

Pita Pit is participating in a social media competition that could win the community free pitas for a day.

The store at 18th Street and Minnesota Avenue has made it to the top 64 locations in the Battle of the Pita Pits campaign, beating out more than 230 sites to make it this far.
