Pita Pit, long the place to get a late night bite in
college towns across the U.S. has come to Greenville. The official downtown location opened Aug. 16 but the grand opening is Thursday, said Owner Justin Kopelman.
The Clemson grad hatched the idea for a franchise in Clemson while finishing up his
studies. He officially opened that location in October 2009, five months after he graduated.
“I felt like we needed something downtown,” Kopelman said. Something “beyond pizza.”
