Pita Pit on KVEW - Good Morning Northwest

Pita Pit were recently featured on a 3+ minute segment on the KVEW-Good Morning Northwest with our very own, John Clapper. The show talked about how Pita Pit is helping the local community with their 2014 goals with the Resolution Solution campaign that is currently running. Pita Pit on ABC 4 UTAH in a segment titled, “Pita Pit offers healthy options for those looking to slim down.” Ralph Oman and Janet Paboada showed viewers how to build their own healthy pita meals at home. He discuss their new campaign that allows guests to build their own pitas through three simple steps, which ultimately provide consumers the opportunity to customize their own pitas for their caloric needs. Ralph can show viewers which pitas, toppings and sauces are healthiest and some unique combos for them to try out to help them eat healthy in the new year.

"We want to accommodate consumers who want to maintain a healthy lifestyle but still enjoy the convenience of dining out," he said. "Through our partnership with HEALTHY DINING, we are able to provide consumers the opportunity to customize their own pitas for their caloric needs."

Pita Pit is planning a third Sioux Falls location.

The restaurant is scheduled to open in mid-March as part of the Remington Pointe development at 69th Street and Western Avenue, according to local franchisee Tom Cruse.


“There’s a lot of small businesses around, a lot of traffic, a lot of rooftops,” he said. “There’s a growing area, a lot of clinics. There’s not a lot for quick casual dining.”

Beef ‘O’Brady’s and specialty shop Cheese World are scheduled to open in the same retail center in January.

Pita Pit in Idaho State Journal

Pita Pit in Idaho State Journal in an article titled, "The Pita Pit in Pocatello Moves to a New Location with a Grand Opening Slated for Dec. 11."  The article details, Brian’s history with the Pita Pit brand and his dream of owning his own store. He also touched on the passing of his father and how that was the ultimate decision to become a business owner and to follow in his footsteps. Brian discussed why he decided to move the location of the original store, the vision he has for his Pita Pit and what it means to him to now be a business owner. POCATELLO — Before the Pita Pit rolled into town, Brian Christensen had to drive to Logan, Utah to fulfill his taste buds’ craving.

After he initially fell in love with the food, the Gate City native applied for a job and worked his way up to the top spot.


Christensen took over ownership of the Pocatello Pita Pit located at 1799 Hurley Dr. in May 2012.


Today, a grand opening celebration is slated to take place at the restaurant’s new location at the corner of 4th Avenue and Center Street. Pita specials will be offered all day long.

Pita Pit on Ozarks Live!

Pita Pit on Ozarks Live! in a segment titled, "Pita Pit." Owner Penny Inlow and store manager Mindy Seymour showed the anchors the variety of pitas that Pita Pit offers, and the many healthy ingredients that go into some of their pita sandwiches. Both Penny and Mindy discussed how easy they are to make and that the pitas are healthy alternatives. They had the host make one of their most popular pitas, the chicken souvlaki. The anchors taste tested the sandwiches and were very impressed. Mindy mentioned her second location that will be opening soon as well. Overall it was a great segment and very informative.
