Pita Pit on ButteNews.net

Pita Pit were recently featured on buttenews.net in an article titled, "Pita Pit opens in Uptown Butte today". Jim Larson from buttenews.net was at the Butte Pita Pit location with Franchisees' Carrie and Buddy Fisher to film the ribbon cutting ceremony on opening day. In the video, members of the local chamber discuss how excited they are for the opening and how Carrie and Buddy are the perfect people to open the new location. Carrie and Buddy also discuss how supportive the members of chamber have been and how they are excited to offer healthy menu items to Butte. Pita Pit opens in Stamford

STAMFORD - The health-conscious franchise franchise Pita Pit is expected to open its first location in the state at the beginning of April in downtown Stamford.

The new business, opening at 211 Main St., will offer fresh sandwiches containing meat and vegetables that appeal to minds and stomachs.

EPHRATA - The region's first Pita Pit, a restaurant franchise serving healthy sandwiches and salads, opened here Monday after 10 months of planning by the owner.

Pamela Leseman, a longtime Ephrata resident and local eatery manager, said she'd wanted to open her own restaurant for years before falling in love with Pita Pit's concept of "fresh thinking, healthy eating."

"Everything's fresh pretty much from start to finish." said the 51-year-old Leseman. "I love the decor, the menu and the attitude of helping people eat in healthy ways."

Pita Pit opens in Loop, eyes future growth

Canadian restaurant chain Pita Pit opened a new franchise store in the Delmar Loop, as it eyes an expansion of up to 20 more stores in the area in the next five years.

Located at 6120 Delmar Blvd., Pita Pit serves pita sandwiches and opened May 6, said owner Jordan Martin, a 24-year-old St. Louis native who opened the franchise. Martin said he discovered Pita Pit while visiting his girlfriend at George Washington University. (He graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he was a linebacker for the Temple Owls.) “Every time I went in, it was jam packed,” he said.


It is the third Pita Pit location in St. Louis, along with stores in downtown St. Louis,opened in 2011 by franchisee Ketan Patel, and Edwardsville, opened last year by franchisee Jim Hettler.

Pita Pit, long the place to get a late night bite in college towns across the U.S. has come to Greenville. The official downtown location opened Aug. 16 but the grand opening is Thursday, said Owner Justin Kopelman.

The Clemson grad hatched the idea for a franchise in Clemson while finishing up his studies. He officially opened that location in October 2009, five months after he graduated.

“I felt like we needed something downtown,” Kopelman said. Something “beyond pizza.”
