Pita Pit on FOX Studio 10 Mobile



Consumers are looking to spice up all of their meal options this year; many fast food brands have been adding new items to their menus for a limited time. Pita Pit, a 500+ unit franchise brand, is no stranger to limited time items. In fact, Pita Pit’s Carlos Serrano introduced the Boom Boom Chicken that he is offering at his Mobile Pita Pit for Mardi Gras. You can check out the segment here.

Pita Pit opens in Huntsville

Pita Pit franchisee Andrew Bridle is featured in an article in the Huntsville Forester titled, "Pita Pit opens in Huntsville". The article begins with information about the new Huntsville Pita Pit and Andrew is quoted about his excitement to open in the community. PITA PIT OPENS


HUNTSVILLE - Almost from the time Andrew Bridle opened his first Pita Pit in Bracebridge two years ago, he had ideas about bringing the fast-food franchise back to Huntsville.

That dream became a reality on Friday, as the 25-year-old entrepreneur opened his second franchise in Muskoka, at 130 Howland Dr. in Muskoka Commerce Park.

"I wanted to bring my passion for healthy eating up here. Huntsville is pretty progressive too, so it was an obvious choice for me," he said.

This new Pita Pit is not the first one for north Muskoka, as there was an enterprise inthe area around 10 years ago, but has since closed down.

Pita Pit on "News 5 at Noon" CBS Mobile, AL

Pita Pit was recently featured on "News 5 at Noon" CBS Mobile, AL in a segment titled, "News at Noon." For the segment, Carlos demonstrated how to make a Chicken Souvlaki Pita. The segment was extremely interactive and Carlos did a great job walking the anchor through making the pita step by step.

Pita Pit was recently featured in the Press-Register, AL.com titled, "Pita Pit ownershopeful new Dauphin Street eatery attracts BayFest crowds, loyalty."  The article details the opening of the first Pita Pit in downtown Mobile by two young entrepreneurs named Carlos Serrano and Matthew Lemond.  Carlos and Matthew talk about how they planned to open the Pita Pit in time for the Mobile BayFest this weekend, in order to capitalize on the tourism aspect driving many people downtown from outside the area. The owners also discuss what prompted them to take the risk to open up a small business and why they thought the Pita Pit brand would be the most unique and successful business to develop.
